VSP Admin: How do I log in?


Once you have processed a transaction through Sage 50 Accounts, you can view this transaction and perform any refunds through your VSP Admin area. You can also use VSP Admin to take payments via the VSP Terminal.


VSP Admin can be found at: https://ukvps.protx.com/VSPAdmin

When you log in to the VSP Admin screens you will be asked for a Vendor Name, a User Name and a Password. The first time you log in you will need to do so as your system Administrator:


  • In the Vendor Name box, enter your VSP Vendor Name.

  • In the User Name box, enter the VSP Vendor Name again.

  • In the Password box, enter the VSP Admin password.

Click the VSP Admin Login button image button


This will take you to the Administrator section (see below screenshot). You need to add a User account.

The ADMINISTRATOR can ONLY create User accounts, edit, copy, delete or unlock them. You cannot view your transactions or take payments through the online VSP Terminal whilst logged in as an Administrator.


To process a payment and perform a refund you need to create user accounts for yourself and others.


Click the VSP Admin Add new user button image button to add a new user.

Enter a username of your choice and a password that you will remember.


Tick the checkboxes to assign privileges to each user account. You will need to make sure that the Refund box is ticked in order to perform a refund from the VSP Admin screens.


Click the Add button and your new account will appear in the list of User accounts.


Now click the VSP Admin Logout button image button


Click the login button to log back in, this time entering:


Your VSP Vendor name in the Vendor Name box.


The User Name of the account you just created in the User Name box.


The password for the account you just created in the Password box.


Click the VSP Admin Login button image button.


You are now logged in using your own user account and you can process a payment through the VSP Terminal, view your transactions in the VSP Admin screens or perform a refund.


You will only need to log in as the Administrator again if you wish to create, edit or unlock other accounts. If you become locked out of the Administrator account, you will need to contact Protx to unlock it for you.
